The Future of LoveTo say I love this book is an understatement. This is the 6th and final story in the Bachelor Billionaire series of stories. Originally there were 4 billionaire friends, then 5 and now 6. All good series mist come to an end sometime, and though I hate to see this series end, this was the time to wrap up the stories, and what a super ending! The epilogue occurs 2 years after the final book ends and wraps up the entire series.
Each of these books can be read as a standalone. There is enough background in each book to read separately, but if you read them in order, you will get the full story of these
super good friends, their struggles, their dangers, their love for each other and their protectiveness of the women they love, their marriages and families.
This book is about Kyle and Jenny. I'm not going to discuss much of the story, as you can read the synopsis on the book's Amazon Page. They love each other for 5 years, each thinking that the other one does not care for them. Jenny works as a personal assistant to Gavin who thinks of Jenny as his daughter.
From the first day that Kyle arrived in town, Gavin warns Kyle to stay away from Jenny. Throughout that time he continues to remind Kyle and give him mean looks and threatening stares and verbal threats. Kyle remains very attracted to Jenny but stays away from her and she is equally attracted to Kyle, but Kyle' constant coldness makes Jenny think he can't stand her, when actually he has loved her from afar the entire time. Jenny makes a big mistake because she thinks she will never have a chance with Kyle, and Kyle interprets her mistake as a sign that she does not care for him.
You will love these overprotective men and the women they love, but the men can be very obstinate--especially Gavin who thinks he has the right and duty to protect the women from the other guys, especially his sister and Jenny. He has a good heart, but wrecks havoc with many of their lives for years.
The women, on the other hand, are (or become with the influence of the other women) super strong ladies who can have each of their men groveling on the floor if they desire, but they also love their men with an unbounded passion and protectiveness.
Of course there are many challenges, serious dangers from ex-spouses or ex-boyfriends or girlfriends. They all have many other struggles, but their love for each other (both the men and women) develops them into a formidable force to the outside world. If you mess with any one of them, you have the entire clan ready to fight you!
Jenny and Kyle sneak around for 3 months and become very good friends (just friends, no sex involved.) Each is afraid to make a move toward the other, for fear of losing that friendship if the other one does not have loving feelings for them.
Will one of them finally make a move toward what each secretly desires? Or will Gavin continue to be an ass and keep them apart? Will they finally stand up to Gavin? Will a bad misunderstanding keep them apart forever? Will Jenny's accident drive them further apart or will it be the stimulus for them to declare their love for each other?

Every book of Sharon Cummin I have read has been sweet and charming. You will love reading how her playboys find the fiesty women win their hearts!. This story is about the youngest playboy of the group Kyle. Kyles mom and his step dad John insisted he come to a baby shower for all the pregnant ladies of the playboys. Only one other playboy has not found his true love yet and that is Heath. Then Kyle sees Jenny who happens to be Gavin his step Dads friends Secretary. John warns him that Gavin will not approve. And sure thing Gavin warns him to stay away from Jenny. For five years Kyle has kept himself away even though he has loved her from the first time he seen her. Then at a group vacation in Hawaii things change between them. Jernny had married and divorced in the last five years because she really loved Kyle and just settled on her ex., and Kyle is tired of staying away!. So when they get back they start seeing each other as friends. Only Gavin is still trying to keep them apart!. Will Kyle ever get up the nerve to tell Jenny how he feels?. Will Jenny let him know she has felt the same all these years. You will love this sweet, touching, charming and exciting Romance!. It is a must read book!.
The Future of Love could use a better title, as it's a contemporary romance about a man who had pined after the woman for a long time but can no longer deny himself.
Kyle had watched Jenny from afar for a long time. Kyle's stepfather's best friend, Gavin, had repeatedly stated to Kyle that Jenny is off-limits, as Jenny is his secretary and is like a daughter to him. Kyle had respected those wishes, even watched Jenny married the wrong man. When Jenny got divorced, Kyle still can't decide if he can't pursue her or not... but a family vacation to Hawaii gave him the opportunity to take that one small step further... a vacation fling. But that when Jenny's ex complicated the picture, and the family seems to have problems with the relationship, can the two find their way to each other?
The family seems to be a bit large to keep track of everybody. The relationship is very angsty, as Jenny was still hurt from the divorce and Kyle had denied himself for too long he wasn't sure how to act, so they danced around each other a lot, had the fling, then tried to keep their relationship a secret, but secrets always leak, and there came the complications.
Anything Sharon Cummin writes is pure excellence and this is no exception. Her books are a one click no matter what. Kyle and Jenny were hot. I love their story and the development of their relationship. The love they had for each other for so long and it was beautiful.
Kyle and Jenny met through mutual acquaintances. As they got to know each other they both began to like the other, but never knew their feelings were shared by the other. For various reasons, it took 5 years for them to admit they cared for one another. This is their journey of discovery.
I know all of these books written by this author was standalone but they have been all around and about the same crowd. I really enjoyed reading this author's books. Sexy, passionate about love twisted storyline continued to be reading more about the two characters in this story, with the rest of this author's books. ENJOY
